Bikes for days

The U.S. Postal Service creates new "forever" stamps every year and for this project a set of four stamps was created. The challenge of this task was to create four illustrations that would not only be related in concept but also to highlight each stamp individually. A theme of bicycles through the ages was chosen, with each unique stamp reflecting a bicycle design from four different periods in history. Using water color and ink, each stamp is differentiated with bright colors and by clothing style during a particular time period that also shows the style of bicycles for the period.
